ACHIAMBO V. NGUATEM

CEO / Founder / Member BOD

Born in Cameroon, Vincent Achiambo graduated from the University of Yaounde. He taught Biology at St. Joseph's College Sasse Buea. Later, he traveled to Belgium and earned a MSc in Molecular Biology with concentration in Tropical Infectious Diseases at Vrije University Brussels and the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) Antwerp. He traveled to the USA and earned a degree in Nursing at Bowie State University, Maryland. He has served patients in various hospitals and community settings in the USA as an Infection Control and Supervisory staff. As a way to give back to his communities, Achiambo, his wife, and family co-founded A&T Humanitarian Legacy; a public charity foundation in honor of their parents to serve the poor and homeless in Delaware, and the families, children, orphans, young girls, and unprivileged displaced by war in the South West and North West regions of Cameroon. As CEO, he strives to carry out the strategic plans and policies that are established to ensure the mission and objectives of A&T Humanitarian Legacy are fulfilled.

GETRUDE T. NGUATEM

Co-Founder / Member BOD

Getrude earned her undergraduate studies and degree in Education Administration from University of Buea, Cameroon, and the College of Preceptors in London. She immigrated to USA and earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Currently, she is a Family Nurse Practitioner Consultant with Geriatric Medicine Consultants, and Director of Quality Assurance with At Home Care Agency-a community based Health Care organization both in Delaware, USA. As co-chair of A&T Humanitarian Legacy, Getrude is involved in creating and implementing a consistent inventory system and monitoring. She is also responsible for overseeing fundraising and ensuring sound financial practices. With her role as an executive, she helps ensure our organization makes timely and consistent progress. In addition to overseeing and reporting the organization's results, she provide oversight to the Board of Directors, BOD.

DR. PRIMUS M. TAZANU

President / Chairman

Dr Primus M. Tazanu is the president of A&T Humanitarian Legacy Foundation. He is an anthropologist based at the University of Buea, Cameroon, and senior guest researcher at the Centre of African Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses on social practices and the production of meanings through media technologies:  new/social media and transnational relationships, media/social and Pentecostalism as well as media and racism. Primus has worked at the Universities of the Witwatersrand (South Africa), Basel (Switzerland) and Freiburg (Germany). He has published in many peer-reviewed journals including New Media and Society, Africa, Nordic Journal of African Studies, Media and Communication, Journal of African Media Studies, Journal of Religion in Africa, and the Journal of Asian and African Studies.

AZIWUNG UZUH

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Born in Buea, Cameroon, Azi travelled to the US at the age of 10. Since then, she graduated from University of Delaware (UD) with a degree in Finance and with a minor in International Relations. Post UD, she worked in Investment Banking, then transitioned into pharmaceutical industry. She currently is working for a consulting company as the Project Manager Lead overseeing a team of Project managers across North America. Outside of her career, she runs an e-commerce and mentoring enterprise with her husband, Micah Uzuh; which she expresses has been one of the most fulfilling adventures. She also enjoys dancing, playing tennis, traveling and spending quality time with family.

RAMSES NGUATEM

Public Relation Officer Assistant (APRO)

Currently studying for a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Ramses plays a crucial role in the planning our organization's events while helping the IT department with facilitating and ensuring the efficiency of the IT programs. As a troubled youth who managed to turn his life around, Ramses facilitates our youth outreach programs, which attempt to give trouble youths a chance to prove they can be prominent and productive members of our society. Ramses aspires to be recognized as someone who is a pillar to his community. He is also a proud father of two and dedicated husband to his wife.

ERNEST T. NGUATEM

IT Programmer / Project Coordinator

In his role as Project Coordinator, Ernest contributes to the organization's excellence in design thinking, fundraising, and program development. He developed innovative ideas for managing and directing social media sites. He can facilitate information flow between the creative team members and empowers their staff as well as developing conceptual briefs and design concepts to meet the needs of the organization. Ernest also contributes to the development of business objectives.

AMBER WELLS

IT / Marketing

Amber Wells is a Caribbean native from The Bronx, New York. A graduate of New York College of Technology with a degree in Business and Technology of Fashion Studies. As a creative and innovative member of the organization, she contributes greatly to its success. In this organization, she serves as an IT Marketing Associate. Aside from her technology studies background, she also contributes to the development and implementation of innovative and fresh IT ideas for the organization. A great deal of her passion is helping others and being of-service to them.

CAPRIA JOYNES - NGUATEM

Education Program Design

Capria Nguatem is an Education Program Designer. She has a passion for helping youth through education. She graduated from Wilmington University with Elementary / Early Childhood Studies. She has worked in the early childhood field for seven years, and currently serves as a Family Early intervention Service Coordinator. She believes in service for her community.

ODILIA ACHIAMBO ASONGU

Social / Women Affairs

Odilia Achiambo Anu was born in Fontem and currently lives in Buea, Cameroon. She earned a certificate as an Administrative Secretary and Accounting. Her business engagement is in the fashion/design industry and marketing. As a community leader, she actively leads the Visitation Ministry of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in Buea. She leads and serves with passion, pays visits and prays for the sick in their homes & hospitals. As the Social & Women Affairs Secretary of A & T Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, she advocates for services and support to the underprivileged children, orphans and particularly young girls who are vulnerable during conflicts.

MICAH UZUH

Director of Marketing

Born in the Delaware, USA, Micah, at 8 years old, travelled to Nigeria where he had the opportunity to live with family for 8 years. At 16, he returned to the US, studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Delaware (UD) while working as a Pharmacy Tech to put himself through school. Post UD, he worked as an Application Engineer and recently transitioned to Program Management which allows him to lead teams across the globe. Outside of that, he run my e-commerce and mentorship enterprise with my wife, Azi Uzuh; which he expresses has been one of the most life changing endeavors. He also enjoys playing soccer, traveling, jazz music and spending quality time with family.

FOUNDIKOU MOCTAR ABBAS

IT Specialist | Course Coordinator | Teacher

Abbas is a Computer Science Engineer. He studied in the University of Buea and Islamic University of Technology (IUT) Dhaka, Bangladesh. 
Moving back to Cameroun, Abbas worked as Web developer, ICT team leader, and Computer Teacher. He also worked as Business Development Specialist at MTN Cameroon before joining A&T Humanitarian Legacy Foundation as an IT Specialist, Teacher, and Course Coordinator. Abbas considers teaching as one of the best social and humanitarian act.
